Hunk Thursday--Garrett Hedlund

Sooo Tuesday night I went to see Country Strong (my very first movie as an employee at the theater lol) and it was really good!  What else was really good was Beau, aka Garrett Hedlund.  Or maybe it's Garrett Hedlund, aka Beau.  I don't know really.  Anyway, Garrett Hedlund played a character named Beau and I learned two things.
A)  He is a hottie.
B)  He can sing.

I want to hear him on my radio.  And see him on my TV everyday :)

I personally prefer him with the facial hair instead of without.  What do you think?

Friday Happy Hour

It's been entirely too long since I updated this, but here it is.  Friday Happy Hour from mental_floss

1.  What unorthodox fix-it techniques have you employed?  The antenna on our radio at home broke and Mom and I wanted to listen to Retro Saturday Night, so we attached a steak knife to the radio with aluminum foil.  Unfortunately it didn't work and we did not get to listen to Retro Saturday Night.

2.  Everyone has a bad haircut story.  What's yours?  When I was in about 6th grade, I got this weird haircut (I don't even know how to describe it) and I HATED it.  Some other people liked it and told me how cute it was and everytime they did, I burst into tears and told them to stop lying LOL

3.  If you were put in charge of your local library and asked to come up with one weekly program that would generate positive buzz in the community, what would your program be called?  Perusing Paperbacks.

You know what I love?

I love the idea of Santa Claus.  I mean, Santa spends ALL year working to make other people happy, and he makes it happen.  Really makes it happen, without asking for anything in return.  And you know what, everyone loves him.   Who doesn't love Santa?  No one, that's who.

My very favorite quote is by Jon Bon Jovi and it says.  "Believe in love.  Believe in magic.  Hell, believe in Santa Claus.  Believe in others.  Believe in yourself.  Believe in your dreams.  If you don't, who will?"

So, yes, I believe in Santa.  Or someone like him.  They're out there, and whoever and wherever you are, I think you rock.  Keep doing what you do.

Hunk Thursday--Keith Urban. Also, NaNo update!

Hola!  Well, it's Thursday, and I'm waaaaaay behind on my NaNo wordcount.  By way behind, I mean about 11,000 behind.  Sigh.  I finally got excited about my story again, so *hopefully* I can get quite a bit done today (did I say something like that on Monday?  IDK)

Anyway.  NaNo break time to drool over the extremely gorgeous and outrageously talented Keith Urban.  Enjoy!
